DRG Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DRG Specialist to join our team at BlueWave Solutions. As a key member of our revenue assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our coding and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coding of diagnoses and procedures with case closure and release for billing
• Revenue assurance through case review for plausibility and completeness
• Review of all DRG-relevant facts in dialogue with the medical and nursing service and based on the medical record/electronic documentation
• Participation in the preparation of OPS structure audits of the MD
• Further training to become a team leader for DRGs possible after successful training

Requirements

• Strong understanding of DRG coding and revenue assurance principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
