The Maintenance / Facilities Management Technician I is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Identify and prioritize maintenance needs based on inspections and reports.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner using required safety equipment and following safety procedures.
  • Complete all work orders in a timely manner and maintain the work order system as required.
  • Remain alert for any safety hazards at any properties and report them to Facilities leadership for immediate corrective action.
  • Submit all credit card and fuel charges for accounting in a timely manner.
  • Available to be on-call, work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Two (2) years responsible employment history with an emphasis on previous maintenance experience.
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
  • All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
