Job Description

The US Oncology Network is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Specialist to join our team. As an Oncology Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for oncology patients in an outpatient setting.

You will initiate and document appropriate interventions, evaluate and record patient and family response within practice protocol, and prescribe drug therapies per protocol/physician consultation. Additionally, you will assess patient and family needs and provide education, promote/provide staff education, and serve as a liaison between inpatient, skilled nursing, and home settings.

We are looking for a candidate with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Post-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant hematology/oncology experience is preferred.

You must have RN State License and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state, along with current state certification of Nurse Practitioner or current state license as a Physician Assistant. Current CPR certification is required.
