We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Registered Nurse for an immediate travel nurse position in Kalamazoo, MI. To be successful, candidates should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Job Summary

As a Telehealth Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care by interpreting and recording vital signs data from electronic displays. This involves monitoring patients' heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and other critical indicators. You will work closely with the medical team to identify any irregular readings and take corrective action when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic bedside care, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team
  • Initiate corrective action in response to adverse symptomatology

Successful candidates should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. They must also have good vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

We require candidates to hold a current BLS certification, ACLS certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Additional certifications may be necessary before starting an assignment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, based on national averages and location. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
