Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a contract SLP for an elementary school in the Wellesley, MA area. As a contract SLP, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Therapy: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address identified speech and language disorders.
- Individualized Education Plans: Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with identified speech and language disorders, and present them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, and provide guidance on best practices for supporting students with speech and language disorders.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records for all students on your caseload, and provide regular progress reports to parents.
- Organizational and Time Management: Organize your caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time.
Requirements:
- Massachusetts SLP License: Must hold a valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology license.
