Yard Shifter

UPS is seeking a skilled Yard Shifter to join our team. As a Yard Shifter, you will be responsible for moving trailers around our property to ensure efficient unloading, repositioning, and loading.

• Operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) or tractor trailer to move trailers around the yard.
• Back trailers safely to the bay door.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet productivity and safety standards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Valid CDL license.
• Ability to back trailers safely.
• Excellent driving skills and a good driving record.
• Reliable and responsible.
