Nurse Utilization Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nurse Utilization Specialist to join our team at Quartz. This is a full-time position that may be based remotely or from one of our offices in Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Medical Director for Policy Development and other Medical Directors to research, develop, revise, and implement custom medical policies and MCG Guidelines. You will also attend Case Review meetings to monitor utilization, relevance, and consistency in use of review criteria.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in utilization management, clinical research, and policy development. A bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, along with 3+ years of RN utilization management experience, is required.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex medical policies and guidelines while contributing to the success of our team. You will receive competitive pay, ranging from $71,000 to $88,800 annually, plus a robust total reward package.
About the Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Nursing or related field
- 3+ years of RN utilization management experience in a clinical and/or inpatient setting
- Insurance/managed care, clinical research, and policy development experience preferred
