Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment, positioning patients, and adjusting devices to obtain high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body
  • Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding, cooperation, and reduce anxiety
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients, staff, and others
  • Obtain acceptable radiographic images using Computed Radiology and/or Film/Screen techniques
  • Acquire and disseminate patient information data for exam orders using the Hospital Ulticare System
Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program and have completed 15 of the mandatory clinical competences required by the American Registry of Radiology Technology
  • CPR Certification
  • 0-6 months related experience
Working Relationships

Works directly with patients and/or customers, internal customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction, and other healthcare professionals and staff.
