Handyman Assistant

Job Summary

This is a seasonal position at Utah State University that involves assisting with building maintenance, repair, and construction tasks. The successful candidate will work with a team to perform various duties, including painting, sink repair, and light construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building maintenance and repair tasks
• Perform light construction and renovation work
• Help troubleshoot equipment and machinery
• Assist with light custodial duties

Requirements

• No experience necessary; training provided
• Ability to learn and develop new skills
• Comfortable with mobile devices and apps
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Dependable and friendly

Working Conditions

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants. This position requires moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, and standing.
