Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with UP Health System – Marquette, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Your expertise and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

About the Position

This full-time role is for a Registered Nurse (RN), joining our Staffing Pool. You will work 12-hour shifts, primarily on days, with opportunities for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
  • Document patient care provided.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • A sign-on bonus of $7,500, with a 24-month commitment.
  • Shift differentials: $2.60 nights, $2.00 weekends, $1.10 afternoons, $1.00 Specialty Certs, double-time incentive shifts, plus flexible shifts/self-scheduling.

Requirements
  • A state of Michigan RN license.
  • An associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • BLS-HCP certification within 30 days of hire.
