Polysomnographer

As a Polysomnographer at Covenant Health (Tennessee), you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. You will be responsible for performing polysomnography, including scoring, seizure hook up, and maintenance of wakefulness test, among other procedures. You will also assist medical directors and physicians with the development of test protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Perform all modalities of polysomnography, including scoring, seizure hook up, and maintenance of wakefulness test
Assist medical directors and physicians with the development of test protocols and procedures
Accurately chart and maintain appropriate paperwork for polysomnography charting
Arrange for maintenance and repair of polysomnography equipment
Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements:
Must be BRPT registered or registry eligible and have a valid TN state license in polysomnography
Must have and maintain CPR certification, registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), and licensure by the state of Tennessee as a Polysomnographic Technologist
