Job Overview

Access Dubuque is in search of dedicated Culinary Professionals to support our dining operations during peak seasons. Our Culinary Services Cooks are responsible for both standard and specialized food preparation tasks, including cooking meals to order and crafting unique dishes. In addition, they will mentor and supervise student staff, respond to inquiries, and share insights regarding food preparation and related processes.

As leaders in maintaining cleanliness, conducting inspections, and ensuring the proper functioning of kitchen equipment and workspaces, our Cooks play a vital role in our culinary team. All staff members are expected to comply with local, state, and federal food safety regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
