About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Highland Springs, a 72-bed behavioral hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering superior outcomes for inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Evidence-Based Therapies: Utilize an evidence-based approach to meet the individual needs of our patients, including group, family, and individual therapy.
  • Ensure Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create thorough treatment plans, revise as needed, and ensure patient progress is accurately documented.
  • Communicate Effectively: Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Discharge Planning: Develop and implement discharge plans that meet patients' after-care needs, ensuring a smooth transition to the next level of care.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with relevant licensure (LPC, LPCC, LISW, LSW, MH/CD, LMSW, LMFT).
  • Current Licensure: Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
  • Certifications: CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Patients: Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients is highly desirable.
