Position Overview:

As a Chassis Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of vehicle chassis architecture. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring efficient design and integration processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive packaging studies and recommend design solutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to streamline geometrical processes.
  • Evaluate media routing and propose effective routing paths and clipping solutions.
  • Analyze and suggest standardized solutions to reduce part numbers while maximizing component commonality.
  • Perform preliminary packaging analyses, presenting findings and recommendations for future actions.
  • Enhance the packaging verification process through improved methodologies and tools.
  • Participate in geometry verification planning, including virtual and physical builds, to elevate CAD quality and maturity.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, particularly in heavy-duty truck engineering.
  • Strong grasp of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complete vehicle and chassis systems.
  • Proficient in PTC Creo Parametric and Creo View software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Product Data Management systems, particularly Volvo PDM system KOLA, is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
