We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hygiene Assistant to join our team at My Dentist - Lawton. As a key member of our dental support team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care and education.
  • Provide superior assistance to supported hygienists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Assist with setting up rooms, stocking and restocking instruments and supplies, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Partner with providers and team members to follow office systems and maximize office workflow.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Oklahoma Dental Assistant Permit.
  • Oklahoma X-Ray Certification.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a dental office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Adaptability to a changing work environment.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
