Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Pediatric ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for critically ill pediatric patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to physicians and other healthcare team members
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient information and care plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
