Baxter Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Retail Intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry, working alongside experienced professionals and learning from industry experts.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and grow knowledge of the automotive business industry through structured, designed time experiencing various parts of the business (e.g., Sales, Service, and Parts).
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced professionals (including leadership and executives) with extensive knowledge of automotive industry practices.
- Team with fellow interns on a program-long group project to be presented to company leadership at the end of the internship.
- Partner with store-specific leaders to gain thorough business knowledge.
- Exposure to the executive and leadership team throughout the internship.
- Must be available to work full-time in the Lincoln metro area during Summer 2025.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a projected graduation date of December 2024, May 2025, or December 2025.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Competitive pay: $18.00 per hour.
- Full-time hours during Summer 2025.
