This role, under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor or appointed representative, is tasked with providing non-mechanical maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities:(Additional duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor)- Conduct routine maintenance assessments across all facilities within the complex;
- Document daily service and maintenance requirements;
- Ensure proper security and oversight of maintenance equipment;
- Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies;
- Assist in the procurement process for maintenance materials;
- Oversee maintenance tasks assigned to residents;
- Educate and supervise residents on material handling safety protocols;
- Engage in mandatory training and professional development;
- Maintain compliance with contracting agencies; and
- Execute other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Operations or designated supervisor.
Preferred candidates will have advanced technical training and proven technical skills necessary for the effective maintenance of heating, air conditioning, safety, and sanitation systems in a residential setting.
Knowledge Requirements:
This position necessitates comprehensive knowledge of all facility maintenance procedures.
Essential Abilities:
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
- Operate efficiently in an environment populated by offenders;
- Adhere to instructions and complete various tasks accurately and promptly;
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule; and
- Comply with company policies and protocols.
Educational Background:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
