Job OverviewPosition Summary:

This role, under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor or appointed representative, is tasked with providing non-mechanical maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities:(Additional duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor)
  • Conduct routine maintenance assessments across all facilities within the complex;
  • Document daily service and maintenance requirements;
  • Ensure proper security and oversight of maintenance equipment;
  • Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies;
  • Assist in the procurement process for maintenance materials;
  • Oversee maintenance tasks assigned to residents;
  • Educate and supervise residents on material handling safety protocols;
  • Engage in mandatory training and professional development;
  • Maintain compliance with contracting agencies; and
  • Execute other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Operations or designated supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:

Preferred candidates will have advanced technical training and proven technical skills necessary for the effective maintenance of heating, air conditioning, safety, and sanitation systems in a residential setting.

Knowledge Requirements:

This position necessitates comprehensive knowledge of all facility maintenance procedures.

Essential Abilities:

  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
  • Operate efficiently in an environment populated by offenders;
  • Adhere to instructions and complete various tasks accurately and promptly;
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule; and
  • Comply with company policies and protocols.

Educational Background:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
