We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ohio Steel Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including overhead electric traveling cranes, industrial saws, and plasma cutters.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and collaborate with other maintenance technicians to optimize equipment operations.
- Assist with training and support of production staff on the operation of equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required; two years of vocational/technical school electronics program preferred.
- Demonstrated success in industrial equipment maintenance, typically acquired through a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480v) and overhead electric traveling cranes required.
- Able to read and understand schematics and manuals.
- Unwavering commitment to safety and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive base pay, starting at $25 per hour, paid weekly.
