Role Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated aircraft maintenance technician to join our skilled workforce. This pivotal role is essential to our operations, and we particularly encourage veterans with prior military aircraft maintenance experience to consider transitioning into licensed A&P mechanics. At Textron Aviation, we provide a preparatory course lasting two weeks and cover the expenses associated with obtaining Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certifications within a 90-day timeframe from your start date.

Key Responsibilities:

As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, which entails:
    • Executing various mechanical tasks, including diagnosing issues, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling aircraft to ensure they are flight-ready for customer delivery.
    • Performing turbine engine troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and engine run-ups.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Completion of On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) is required.

Ability to secure Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of employment commencement.
