Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOWLength: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
  • CA license
  • 2-3 years' in specialty
  • Must have experience with ICP monitoring and ventricles
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • PALS Preferred
Additional Details
  • Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test
  • First to Float
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • # beds: 30 beds
  • Ratios: 1 to 1-2, 90% of the time will be 1 to 2 ratio
  • Floating: any of the tele or medsurg units
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: trauma - travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring - candidates MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventricles if they do not have this experience, then they MUST have experience with post-TPA pts
  • COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
  • Absolutely do not send over candidates who have 2 years or less experience and minimal travel experience unless they have excellent past experiences at larger, fast-paced facilities
