TIG Welder Specialist

Job OverviewAt Rogue Gear Works Fabrication, we are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating aluminum parts and structures based on blueprints and technical specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in aluminum welding techniques such as TIG. You will work on custom projects, ensuring all fabricated components meet the highest quality and safety standards. Experience in aluminum cutting, shaping, and assembly is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks using TIG welding processes
• Cut, shape, and prepare metal materials for fabrication
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and welding requirements
• Assemble metal structures and ensure they meet design specifications
• Inspect and test welds and fabricated parts for strength, durability, and precision
• Operate welding and fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and drills
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance as needed
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification

​Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder fabricator
• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Familiarity with safety standards related to welding and fabrication
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods
• Welding certification is a plus but not required
