Sales Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Dollar General. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales floor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stock merchandise on sales floor and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
• Assist customers with locating merchandise and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform cash handling procedures.
