Position Overview:

In the role of Registered Nurse - Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our organization meets all necessary accreditation and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include overseeing compliance, performing audits, formulating policies, offering staff training, and acting as the primary contact for accreditation and regulatory organizations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and uphold compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
  • Conduct routine audits to verify adherence to standards and pinpoint areas for enhancement
  • Design and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance
  • Provide training and guidance to staff regarding accreditation and regulatory obligations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for accreditation and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive compliance
  • Stay updated on changes in accreditation and regulatory standards and inform staff accordingly
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to accrediting and regulatory organizations

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Georgia
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, ideally in a leadership or quality improvement capacity
  • Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory standards
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
