Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts in our 17-bed Labor and Delivery unit.

About the Role

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics
  • 1 year of nursing experience
