We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at JPC Partners. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing solutions and models for operations forecasting in our Markets Coordination Department.

• Data Preparation and Analysis

Identify, create, and prepare data required for analysis and visualization, ensuring it is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and optimized for storage and use according to business and technical requirements.

Design, build, and deploy production-standard code for data pipelines, architectures, and data sets, leveraging expertise in big data technologies.

Automate tasks and deploy code to production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.

Load transformed data into storage and reporting structures, such as data warehouses, real-time reporting systems, and analytics applications.

Develop data models and an understanding of learning algorithms, applying knowledge of machine learning and data science principles.

• Technical Expertise

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; 7+ years of relevant experience preferred. Experience in data engineering, big data technologies, and programming languages such as SQL and Python/PySpark.

Bachelor's Degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Engineering. Relevant certifications and training in data engineering and science.

• Additional Technical Skills

Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps, Purview, Snowflake, Qlik, or Tableau. Experience with performance/security-oriented data modeling and data design.
