Additional Information: As an AVID Tutor, you will play a critical role in supporting students in their academic journey. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students in their AVID classes, helping them to develop critical thinking, writing, and research skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic support to students in AVID classes
• Help students develop critical thinking, writing, and research skills
• Assist students in setting and achieving academic goals
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure students receive comprehensive support

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with students in a tutoring or academic support role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, approximately 10 hours per week. The AVID Tutor will work closely with teachers and other staff members to provide support to students.
