Job Title: Regional Cancer Care Manager

Grand Itasca is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Cancer Care Manager to lead our Cancer Care Services department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing the people, finances, and business operations of our regional Cancer Care departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement department-specific orientation, education, and competency programs.
  • Provide staff with education and resources to deliver evidence-based programs.
  • Conduct monthly unit meetings and identify ongoing communication methods to keep employees informed about organizational strategic plans.
  • Communicate clear, concise expectations and demonstrate accountability for employee performance by coaching, mentoring, and initiating disciplinary action when appropriate.
  • Ensure unit activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Establish and maintain current policies and procedures for the department in collaboration with the service line director.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement activities by demonstrating knowledge of organizational and departmental quality measures, instituting actions to reach desired benchmarks, and understanding the financial rewards or penalties associated with outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, radiation therapy, or a healthcare/business-related field.
  • Current ARRT, RN, or healthcare/business-related professional certification.
  • 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare/business-related field.
  • Previous leadership experience.
