About the Role

Daemen University, a leading institution in liberal arts education, is seeking a highly qualified adjunct faculty member to join our Public Health Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching courses in biostatistics, research methods, and epidemiology to graduate students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory biostatistics lecture and lab courses (e.g., PH 540 Biostats Lecture and PH 540 Lab Biostats Lab) to graduate students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and understanding
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic success
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a doctoral degree (ABD considered) in mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related discipline. A demonstrated expertise and interest in public health education is essential. Significant public health work, graduate teaching experience, and involvement in community and/or global health activities are highly valued.
