Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct swift assessments and interventions for patients experiencing acute medical issues in a dynamic emergency room environment.
2. Administer medications, execute medical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and achieve the best possible outcomes.
3. Monitor patient vital signs, evaluate responses to treatments, and modify care plans as needed to address urgent medical requirements.
4. Advocate for patients' needs and facilitate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialized services.
5. Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and available community resources for ongoing support.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (and any additional certifications as required by the facility)
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in an emergency room setting
- Excellent communication and adaptability skills.
