About the Role

We're seeking a Seasonal Cashier to join our team at Crate and Barrel. As a key member of our sales floor team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system
  • Greet and communicate with customers, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Communicate and promote applicable promotions, offers, and loyalty programs to customers
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking products and displays as needed
  • Support store management in maintaining store profitability and operational excellence
Requirements
  • Customer service or retail experience preferred
  • Good reading, written, and verbal language skills (English)
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist
  • Availability to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the days surrounding Christmas
