Memorialization Ambassador

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Funeral Ambassador to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. As a Funeral Ambassador, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct client families and their guests to the correct chapel
• Direct visitors to guest book and distribute memorialization materials as needed
• Answer questions and assist with serving the needs of the client families, their guests, and other visitors during visitation and memorialization events
• Receive and place flowers in chapels
• Ensure refreshments are available to client families and their guests
• Oversee parking area and ensure family and ceremonial vehicles are arranged for formal procession
• Assist with directing and/or transporting families and service attendees to and from service locations outside of the funeral home

Requirements:

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• At least 1 year experience in funeral arranging preferred
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently; bilingual a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Ability to empathize with client families and their guests and demonstrate tact and patience in emotionally charged situations

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
