Job Summary:
We are seeking a committed and skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional care to critically ill or severely injured patients within our ICU department. You will receive comprehensive training to manage patients recovering from major surgeries and those experiencing severe medical conditions such as heart attacks or strokes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to urgent medical situations promptly.
- Conduct follow-up assessments for patients.
- Perform necessary diagnostic evaluations.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and be a collaborative team player, equipped with excellent communication skills to provide tailored care to our patients.
Core Duties Include:
- Monitor patient progress and health status.
- Identify and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Communicate updates to physicians, patients, and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in medical emergencies and alert the appropriate medical personnel.
- Attend to the needs of patients during their recovery in the ICU.
- Complete all necessary documentation prior to patient transfers.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care as per established standards.
- Develop and implement effective care plans.
- Adhere to scheduled work hours and complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:
- Current RN License required; must hold a valid nursing license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire or within 8 weeks of hire.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
- NIHSS certification required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC or TCAR certification required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience in an ICU setting required.
- Possess nursing skills and knowledge specific to the specialty area.
