We are seeking a skilled Heavy Haulage Operator to join our team at D R ALLEN & SON INC. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Summary
The Heavy Haulage Operator will operate and maintain heavy haulage vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet all safety standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, as well as communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy haulage vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including vehicle maintenance and driver logs
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid CDL license with experience driving heavy haulage vehicles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
