About the Role
The Residential Counselor will provide direct care and supervision to students in a residential setting, supporting their academic and personal growth through individualized education plans and life skills training.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision to students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to support students' academic growth.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students' unique needs.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records to inform future planning and decision-making.
Requirements
- Certificate or degree in a human services field, such as psychology, sociology, or education.
- Experience working with students in a residential setting, with a focus on providing supportive and therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
