Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Role

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA), you will play a vital role in providing empathetic nursing care in post-acute care facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make up to $35 per hour in Lochearn, MD, and surrounding areas with a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate will have current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification, fluency in medical terminology and nursing care procedures, strong organizational and observational skills, time management skills, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to residents in a post-acute care facility
• Monitor vital signs and report any concerns to supervising staff
• Assist with basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain a sanitary and safe living environment
• Facilitate communication between residents and healthcare staff
