Requirements for Hospice Aide:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification is highly preferred.
  • In states where licensure is not mandated, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Possess a current license/certification as an aide; or
    • Have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program and maintained continuous employment in that role for the past 24 months
  • Current CPR certification is required.
