Key Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate advanced non-destructive testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to detect defects and discontinuities using phased array NDT methods.
- Establish and implement effective examination techniques to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Apply testing criteria and evaluate results to ensure compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
- Organize and report test results to stakeholders, including management and clients.
- Perform specialized inspections and provide expert advice on NDT methods and procedures.
- May instruct and supervise junior technicians and staff members.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some college education preferred.
- NDT certifications and technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
- Five years of experience in NDT, with a proven track record of effectively performing assigned tasks and interpreting results.
