About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and indirect patient care, prioritizing tasks based on physical and psychosocial needs
- Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately, communicating effectively with Emergency Department physicians
- Responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless patient flow through the system
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a preference for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital Emergency Department or critical care setting
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support/ Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
