About the Opportunity
Newmark Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Analyst to lead its Research Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research analysis, database management, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
• Lead the Research Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality research products and services.
• Collaborate with brokers/sales staff to understand research needs and develop effective solutions.
• Work closely with upper management to address research-related issues and implement best practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate consulting and service companies.
• Assist in pursuing, securing, and servicing new opportunities that require a higher level of service.
• Participate in high-profile presentations, preparing and presenting materials.
• Monitor client progress and follow up with necessary transaction professionals.
• Listen to client needs and perform 'custom' care steps to ensure ultimate service.
• Supervise and manage database coordinators, research analysts, GIS and mapping staff, and research interns.
• Manage the daily workflow, identify training needs, track performance, coach, and motivate the research staff.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and implement performance rewards and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance and adherence to all company research initiatives.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum 6-7 years of professional management experience in real estate analysis or a related field.
• 4 years of direct commercial real estate experience.
• Extensive database and systems management experience.
• Project and staff management experience.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong people and presentation skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
