Aya Locums is seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join our team for a locum tenens opportunity in Roswell, NM. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the flexibility to work in a variety of healthcare settings.
Job Responsibilities- Perform a range of surgical procedures, including appendectomies, hernia repairs, and emergency surgeries.
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Be on-call for emergency surgeries and provide consultations to patients and other medical professionals.
- Provide patient education and maintain accurate medical records.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in surgery accredited by the ACGME or AOA.
- Board certification in surgery by the ABS.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in New Mexico.
- Current ACLS certification.
