Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs and providing speech therapy treatments for patients with speech/language problems, including swallow dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing function, and develop treatment plans to address identified needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Develop and implement community education programs to promote awareness and understanding of speech and language disorders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • NYS licensure and ASHA CCC's required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes.
