Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Charge RN, you will be responsible for providing professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will also be responsible for the workflow of the unit, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations, and delivering coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Manage the workflow of the ICU, prioritizing patient care, patient flow, staffing, and resource distribution
  • Ensure adherence to standards and regulations, including the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses
  • Collaborate with the unit management team to develop and implement unit-specific policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-specific goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
