As a Geospatial Data Specialist with MnDOT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of spatial data used in transportation planning and operations. Your key responsibilities will include setting up and operating global positioning systems, performing data comparison from real time kinematic global position systems or total station, and assisting survey lead in field construction activities.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of geospatial technologies and principles, including GIS, GPS, and surveying techniques. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless integration of spatial data into transportation decision-making processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure that data is accurately interpreted and applied.
