Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology Oncology Medical Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, including chemotherapy education and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct rounds on patients during chemotherapy treatment and address urgent care matters as needed.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on hematologic and oncologic care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing.
  • MSN Degree Required.
  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate or eligible to obtain.
  • National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioner.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Minimum one year Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred.

This position reports to the Executive Director of Oncology and requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.
