Tradeweb is seeking a highly skilled Senior SEC Reporting Staff Accountant to join our SEC Reporting department in New York City.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation and/or review of financial statements, footnotes and other necessary supporting documents for the Company's quarterly and annual Form 10-Q and 10-K's
  • Preparation of multi-currency statement of cash flows
  • Analysis of key financial statement variances and preparation of MD&A and other of key SEC disclosures
  • Coordinate with the investor relations, public relations and SEC legal counsel in the preparation and review of other key quarterly earnings documents including the quarterly earnings release and slides for the quarterly earnings and investor presentations, the quarterly earnings investor call script, 8-K's for significant transactions and support with other external investor communications
  • Assist with the preparation of other ad hoc financial reports on an as-needed basis (e.g. pro forma financial schedules, monthly/quarterly reporting packages for senior management, other ad hoc financial analysis)
  • Responsible for the preparation of SEC & GAAP checklists, related-party analysis and memo and quarterly revenue contracts review analysis and memo documentation in accordance with ASC 606
  • Preparing monthly stock-based compensation expense journal entries and reviewing expense calculations performed by 3 rd party service provider
  • Preparing quarterly earnings per share calculations
  • Research and assess applicability of new GAAP/SEC guidance
  • Key contributor to the company's finance transformation goals and initiatives, aimed at streamlining/automating all process from record to report and continuous enhancements to the internal control environment
  • Assist with the SOX documentation processes, including communicating with internal and external auditors for information requests and explanations related to audit requests and internal controls
  • Mentor and train more junior staff
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of SEC reporting experience including at least 3+ years of Big Four public accounting experience working with SEC clients preferred
  • CPA Required
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) - Experience manipulating large amounts of data in Excel
  • Strong technology skills required, including the ability to use or learn new tools such as Alteryx, etc. to help drive efficiency and automation in previously manual processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Workiva experience a plus

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $90,000 to $240,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.

The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
