Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Use AutoCAD to design and implement new manufacturing processes or improvements to existing ones.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and productivity, and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Process Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design, production equipment capabilities, and quality control standards.
