Job Title: Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at QTC Medical Group California. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Physician Assistant will conduct general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations, including reviewing medical history and associated records, interpreting clinical data, and completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO).

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical exams for a variety of customers, including federal, defense, and others.
  • Perform occupational health exams, including pre- and post-employment and annual physicals.
  • Generate written medical opinions based on provided medical records/information and acceptable clinical evidence (ACE).
  • Provide telephonic and virtual exams.
  • Complete initial review and interpretation of diagnostic studies, including laboratory, pulmonary function, and ECG studies.
  • Document examinee records in appropriate systems.
  • Collaborate with other professional and clinical staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university or college.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience.
  • Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice in the state of hire.
  • Valid BLS or ACLS certification.
  • Ability to obtain DEA license.
  • Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certifications as required by current and future contracts.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations.
