Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled CNC Technician to provide engineering support to automated machining centers and technical solutions within our Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development, realization, and implementation of new machining, equipment, and processes.
- Monitor product quality and adjust CNC programs and tools as necessary to maintain conforming product.
- Escalate to appropriate departments in the event of non-conforming product.
- Perform necessary machine verification and inspections according to process parameters guidelines.
- Read blueprints or other instructions to determine how to operate machinery or equipment.
- Assist with machine setup of new products or product changeover.
- Assist with machine repairs and troubleshooting.
- Complete machine interval inspections (integrity and functionality).
- Track, record, and communicate all parameters changes to respective Engineering representatives.
- Monitor cutting tools and consumable/spare part inventories to ensure equipment does not run out of necessary parts or material.
- Monitor and initiate feedback for continuously improving machining processes.
- Monitor cleanliness and 5S of the workstation.
- Assist in any area of the factory as directed by Engineers or Managers.
- Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department and supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement, and communication.
- Experience in all common types of CNC machines and programming.
- Working knowledge of Auto CAD, and/or Solid Works preferred.
- Five, plus years' experience in automated manufacturing environment preferred.
- Robot programming experience preferred.
- Siemens PLC programming skills preferred.
