LPN Seasonal Float Pool Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our Seasonal Float Pool team at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide daily support to unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct resident care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of care
- Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses
- Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff
